Calm driving’s team of instructors are trained to the high DSA (driving standards agency) standard. We also have regular meetings to ensure our structured techniques are getting the best results. Our emphasis is to teach safe driving for life and we know how important it is for pupils to pass 1st time so we will always provide a real to life MOCK Test before the real one.

David Musk (A.D.I G6)

Hi, I have really enjoyed the last nine years its been a fantastic experience learning how to be a driving instructor and then passing on all my knowledge to my pupils. My experience now is vast and I now teach people to become driving instructors (official register of instructor trainers) as well as teaching people how to drive. I am a member of the ‘Institute of advanced motorists’ and ‘The royal society for the prevention of accidents’ . I have achieved a grade 6 status for my ability to instruct and i am accredited as a ‘ Diamond accredited Taxi Trainer’.

I have been teaching for nine years and in that time I have passed well over 400 pupils 75 percent of those passed first time!. Its all about attention to detail and showing pupils how to drive safely and pointing out mistakes and making sure pupils understand the dangers behind there mistakes.

I created Calm Driving 9 years ago and never looked back our recommendation rate speaks for itself ask anyone we’ve taught. WE GET RESULTS!. I look forward to teaching you.

Ian Kiddle

My name is Ian and I have been with Calm Driving for nearly 18 months.

I am a fully qualified driving instructor and certified by the DSA. I have been driving for 30 years and passed my advanced driving test with the institute of advanced motorists nearly ten years ago.

I really enjoy the job of driving instruction and get a great sense of achievement when my pupils pass their test, especially on their first attempt. I look forward to teaching you a ‘skill for life’ and helping you pass your driving test.

Hi my name is Martyn,  I have been with CALM DRIVING for four years. I have enjoyed my time at Calm Driving And i am proud of my high pass rate. As well as teaching learners i am accredited with ‘THE FLEET BADGE’ which allows me to asses the standards of more experienced drivers. We have a strong commitment at CALM DRIVING to keep the standards of tuition high and that shows in our pass rates. We are a friendly company and we get results.
