For 24 years, I’ve been teaching people to drive, and for 17 of those, I’ve been training the teachers themselves.

I started Calm Driving all those years ago, and now I’m lucky enough to work alongside an incredible bunch of talented instructors who feel more like family than colleagues. Teaching learners is hands down the most rewarding, exciting, and satisfying job in the world — except maybe for jogging at my legendary snail’s pace in my free time.

I adore spending time with my wife and our “kids” (25 and 23, but still kids in my book). My proudest achievement is the team around me, from my amazing instructors to my wife Debbie, who not only teaches driving but also runs the business — and yes, I like to pretend I’m the boss… but between us, we all know she really is.
